Within 10 days before surgery

• Some medicines should not be given to your child.
The day of his consultation, the anesthetist told you authorized medication.
If in doubt, always call the service before giving a new drug.

Why? This prohibition applies especially to drugs that prevent blood clotting,
which can be very serious during an operation in case of bleeding. !

Instructions for teenagers

Makeup, piercings, tattoos...
• Remove any makeup + piercing + false nails.

• Avoid temporary tattoos on hands.

In case of period

• No tampons, bring sanitary napkins.

Reminder
• Smoking or electronic cigarette us is prohibited at the hospital. H

Important

Upon arrival at the hospital, you will have to tell:
• If your child has a fever, is sick (cold, chicken pox...).
For his safety, we avoid operating on a sick child.

• If your child has a milk tooth that moves. The team will
check that there is no risk that the tooth will come out
during the operation
